The transport between islands occurs in boats with a capacity of 20 to 40 passengers, there is only connection between populated ports, such as:

• Puerto Ayora Santa Cruz Island
• Puerto Baquerizo Moreno San Cristobal Island
• Puerto Villamil Isabela Island
• Puerto Velasco Ibarra Florena Island

There is no direct route between San Cristóbal and Isabela, we must make a stop in Santa Cruz and take a new boat.

There are 2 daily schedules on each route, and the travel time is 2:00 – 2:30 hours.

In the first half of the year, from January to June, the sea conditions are more stable than in the second half, from July to December, when the waves are stronger.
